Meeting up on the Friday night at the 4 star hotel, which had been specifically booked close to the weekend’s driving.
Safety and driver enjoyment are paramount to EditionNoggy and our members, so roads are previously driven and carefully selected by one of our members on a number of recce drives prior to the trip.
Early Saturday morning saw 8 Noggys setting off up Woodhead Pass for the first mornings drive.
Stopping for lunch at Holmfirth and a themed café and motor museum before making our way back to the hotel after a number of scenic photo shoots, to enjoy the hotels facilities.
Sunday morning saw an early start and a number of the Pennines famous roads being driven. These being the Strines, Snake Pass, Hope Valley road leading up to our photo shoot and rest stop at the Speedwell Cavern on Winnats Pass.
Once refreshed a number of roads were driven leading up to our lunch stop at Whaley Bridge. After lunch and a chat in the car park we said our goodbyes and went our separate ways.
